Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were lovely, and the common spaces were fantastic. I enjoyed great AC, excellent Wifi, comfy pillows, and the most wonderful pool. The added touch of ice-cold fruit-infused water 24/7 was a real treat. However, the ancient air conditioning and heating units were extremely noisy, which was a bit of a downside.
The hotel has a great location near the French Quarter, marketplace, and waterfront areas. The rooms, although slightly larger than standard, had not been dusted in a while. The service, especially parking on-site, was welcoming and friendly. The dining options were slim but tasty, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of historic sites and restaurants.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore Charleston, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the rooms were not worth the high cost, and the dining options left much to be desired. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel's service stood out as a winning point, and the pool was a lovely amenity to enjoy.
While the hotel's location is superb, close to downtown and the arena, our room was disappointingly tiny, not as clean as expected. The staff, however, were wonderful and went out of their way to assist us, making sure the flowers were ready upon our arrival. Dining was pretty good, though the room could have been cleaner. The location is ideal for exploring downtown Charleston but not necessarily convenient inside the hotel.
